Ben is one of those rare lawyers who never stops fighting for his client's plight. Perhaps this is why Ben has been repeatedly recognized for his skills and results. There is a reason for this recognition. Ben has devoted his Professional Career to helping those in need. His results speak volumes. But what truly sets Ben apart from other attorneys is that he really cares about his clients. As one of his client's recently put it: "There is no lawyer who will work harder for you. You will never have anyone devote as much time, care and effort to your cause."

Gary R. Klein

Personal Injury Law

700 Broadway, New York, NY 10003

Gary Klein serves as Weitz & Luxenberg’s managing attorney — he is responsible for all day-to-day operations and for determining which prospective negligence cases to accept based on a meticulous assessment of the injuries claimed, the time frames in which they occurred and many other considerations that shape a litigation’s chances for success (the many clients with whom he meets find his kindly demeanor and ability to empathize most reassuring during this process). Mr. Klein is also an accomplished negotiator who actively participates in settlement discussions as they arise — his involvement is one reason why Weitz & Luxenberg has been able to consistently secure such substantial sums (often reaching seven figures) from defendants who conclude that a fight in court will end badly for them. Mr. Klein has been associated with Weitz & Luxenberg co-founders Perry Weitz and Arthur Luxenberg since 1988, the same year he began the practice of law. Mr. Klein is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York and before the U.S. District Court in New Jersey and in the Southern and Eastern districts of New York. Mr. Klein studied law at Hofstra University, from which he earned a juris doctor degree in 1988. New York City Transit Authority, decided December 24, 2013, Blank appeared for the injured pedestrian appealing a denial of partial summary judgment. The pedestrian had been hit by a left-turning vehicle while crossing with the walk signal. The appellate court granted her motion on liability against the transit authority and Atlantic Paratrans of NYC, Inc., but left the denial intact as to the Metropolitan Transit Authority. Blank also appeared for Eric Flowers in Flowers v. Cora Realty Co. LLC, decided January 5, 2023. That appeal concerned requests for further discovery and to strike the defendants’ answer. There, the First Department affirmed the denial of the requested relief.
