Timothy Kilgannon is a solo attorney with Kilgannon Law PC in Uniondale, New York, representing businesses, individuals and families. Construction disputes are one part of his litigation background: he has represented owners and developers as well as contractors and subcontractors in court and administrative proceedings across New York City and State. His work extends beyond the underlying dispute to enforcement of money judgments in New York courts. In those matters, he has pursued debtor assets through bank restraints, levies and turnover proceedings, along with information subpoenas and wage garnishments. Probate and estate administration form another part of Kilgannon’s practice. He has handled litigation in New York’s Surrogate’s Court, including disputes among beneficiaries and objections to accountings. Will contests in his practice have involved allegations of undue influence, questions of testamentary capacity and improper execution; fiduciary misconduct is also among the issues he handles. Kilgannon’s representation has taken him before the New York State Court of Claims and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. His experience also includes proceedings at New York City’s Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings and the state Education Department’s Office of the Professions. The firm’s transactional services include forming LLCs and corporations, negotiating contracts, and handling business purchases and sales. In real estate, Kilgannon Law handles residential and commercial purchases and sales, lease negotiations and due diligence, with coordination involving lenders, brokers and title companies.
