Area of Practice: Consumer Protection David Pinkhasov is an Associate Attorney of Consumer Attorneys. David is admitted in Courts of the State of New York and Florida. David received his J.D. from Hofstra University Law School in 2021. While attending Hofstra, David interned at the Medical Legal Partnership Clinic, where he assisted in addressing clients’ legal needs impacting their health and well-being, such as income and housing. David also interned at the Nassau County Bar Association Mortgage Foreclosure Pro Bono Project, which was geared towards providing limited representation in court mandated conferences to any Nassau County resident facing foreclosure. In addition, David co-mediated custody and visitation disputes, divorce, and other family matters as a student mediator for Hofstra’s Family Law Mediation Clinic. After graduating law school, David served as an attorney for a Real Estate law firm where he guided clients through transactions ranging from intricate leasing agreements to large-scale property acquisitions. David brings a unique blend of legal experience and approachability to every case.

David Resnick, a New York personal injury attorney, began his law career working at large firms where the objective was to spend as little time as possible actually speaking to clients. He saw that clients deserved more time and attention, however, and an attorney who truly cared about their case. Armed with nothing more than a firm belief in client communication, he started his own practice in a tiny office in his apartment. David is a Partner and leads the firm’s New York Office. His practice for the past 25 years has concentrated on litigation and arbitration matters for the securities industry. He has represented broker-dealers, registered investment advisors, and investment banking firms, and their principals and representatives in a broad variety of matters nationwide, including disputes alleging unsuitability, unauthorized trading, fraud, market manipulation, blue-sky violations, as well as a wide variety of employment matters, including litigation and arbitration over allegations of gender, race, and age discrimination and compensation and “raiding” cases. David represents clients in regulatory matters before the SEC, FINRA and state regulators. David also frequently represents clients in the state and federal trial and appellate courts in commercial disputes, including employment, real estate and trusts and estates matters. David has served as a FINRA Industry Arbitrator and a New York City Civil Court Arbitrator. David is admitted to practice in the State Courts of New York, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. David was previously a Partner in the Litigation Department of Blank Rome, where he had also been Associate. Prior to that, David had been an Associate at Skadden Arps. David received his law degree from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University in 1985.
