Daniel B. Nottes is a results-oriented, innovative, creative thinker who works closely with his clients to successfully negotiate, and if necessary litigate, cases from inception through trial and appeal. A seasoned litigator, Mr. Nottes represents individuals and families in complex and sophisticated matters. Mr. Nottes is privileged to represent clients in all aspects of matrimonial and family law, including divorce and separation (both litigated in court and settled out of court); negotiating marital and family agreements (prenuptial, postnuptial, separation, and other settlement agreements); paternity; custody, visitation, parenting time and access; child support, including initial awards and modifications; spousal support/maintenance; relocation to other jurisdictions; parents/grandparents rights; domestic violence, including orders of protection; equitable distribution and property division, including valuations of real estate (commercial and residential) holdings, businesses, professional practices, closely-held family companies, art collections, exotic cars and automobiles, aircraft, and other complex holdings and assets. His cases have also involved multi-jurisdictional and cross-border issues, including proceedings involving children, jurisdictional disputes and matters of international law. In addition, he has extensive experience representing clients in alternative dispute resolution proceedings, including arbitrations and mediations – locally, nationally and internationally. Mr. Nottes’ cases have garnered national and international media attention and have involved landmark issues and matters of first impression, such as the successful distribution of frozen embryos to his client as part of an equitable distribution/marital property award after trial, considerably large support awards, including a permanent maintenance award following a multi-week trial, and the striking of pleadings resulting from illegal iPhone hacking and spoliation of evidence – the first case of its kind ever litigated worldwide – which was recently affirmed on appeal with costs (see Appellate Division Decision here). Prior to forming his boutique law firm to service his broad client base, Mr. Nottes was a Partner and the Practice Chair of the Matrimonial and Family Law Department at a commercial law firm. Previously, Mr. Nottes was a name partner at Felder, Felder and Nottes, P.C. (formerly Raoul Felder and Partners, P.C.), a renowned law firm concentrating in Matrimonial and Family Law. During law school, Mr. Nottes had the privilege of serving as a judicial intern to the Honorable Arthur D. Spatt, Senior United States District Judge for the Eastern District of New York. Real Estate Law

7 Southwoods Blvd, Albany, NY 12211, USA

I joined Herzog Law Firm in 2020 after spending 11 years managing my own law firm. I enjoy representing buyers & sellers in residential and commercial real estate transactions. Communication during a real estate transaction is critical, so I spend a lot of time making sure that everyone involved in the transaction is on the same page. This helps to avoid drama and surprises, and as a result, leads to more successful closings! Purchasing and selling a home is one of the biggest transactions that people will go through, and I am truly honored to be a part of the transaction to guide my clients every step of the way. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing guitar, cooking, and golfing.

Daniel Wasserberg

Distinguished Lawyer

Personal Injury Law

1040 6th Ave 7th fl, New York, NY 10018, USA

Daniel Wasserberg became an NYC asbestos lawyer because he was motivated to assist victims of injustice by fighting corporate entities that value profit over the public’s health and welfare. Twenty years into his practice, Mr. Wasserberg remains firmly focused on helping people. As a founding partner of his Manhattan-based mass torts and personal injury law firm, his litigation practice is driven by three guiding concerns: consumer protection, environmental advocacy, and most importantly: accountability of companies that harm people for the benefit of their own bottom line. Nothing gives Mr. Wasserberg greater satisfaction than fighting for those who have personally selected him to advocate their cause. He believes that it is especially important to spend quality time with his clients so that he can get to know them and their individual cases: “Every client is different, and if you don’t know them, then you don’t know what you’re fighting for.” Daniel Wasserberg has been selected to the New York Metropolitan Super Lawyer list every year since 2013. In 2017, Mr. Wasserberg was named a “Top 100 Civil Litigator” by the National Trial Lawyers organization. This recognition is rarely awarded to attorneys under the age of 40. Mr. Wasserberg is proud to call himself a Trial Lawyer. He is often a featured speaker at industry summits and gatherings of the nation’s leading attorneys, from both sides of the bar. He is recognized by both his peers and his adversaries and is considered one of the nation’s premier mesothelioma and negligence attorneys. He makes it a point to attend conferences with the front-running plaintiff’s attorneys so that he stays aware of new developments in the field and continues to develop the firm’s network of the best and brightest co-counsel all over the country. This network of attorneys gives Meirowitz & Wasserberg, LLP the capability to fight for justice on behalf of individuals throughout the United States, and even internationally. Mr. Wasserberg is originally from Houston. He has been or is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. In 2004, he was admitted to practice law in Texas. He is now licensed in the Southern District of Texas. In 2010, his practice privileges were extended to the State of New York. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of NY. In 2018, he was admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey. In 2020, he was admitted to practice in the state of Illinois including the Northern District of IL. Mr. Wasserberg is the holder of a Juris Doctor Degree received in 2003 from Indiana University School of Law, as well as a Business Certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University.

Danielle Becker

Danielle Becker

Distinguished Lawyer

Elder Law

3000 Marcus Ave suite 1e7, New Hyde Park, NY 11042, USA

Danielle Becker was drawn to elder law after her grandmother needed the services of an elder law attorney for estate and Medicaid planning. Danielle was so impressed by how helpful and knowledgeable the elder law attorneys were, she decided she wanted to help others in the same way by attending law school at Hofstra University. There she focused her studies on elder law and estate planning. Prior to joining Ettinger Law Firm, Danielle began her elder law career representing clients in guardianship matters, probate and estate administrations, and estate litigation. Ms. Becker also drafted estate planning documents including wills, trusts and advanced directives. Her experience handling these matters led her to the conclusion that individuals and families should be proactive by planning for their futures to diminish the need for the lengthy, costly and emotionally trying court proceedings. This drew Danielle to Ettinger Law Firm, a law firm whose values mirror her own. Ms. Becker is a Nassau County native and currently resides in Nassau County.
