Matthew Hoffmann is an AV Preeminent rated litigator whose practice focuses on Plaintiff’s personal injury. Matthew grew up on a small family farm in rural North Dakota and attended law school at the University of North Dakota School of Law. In law school, Matthew was a scholarship student, serving as a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy courses and as President of the Moot Court Board. After obtaining his Juris Doctorate, With Distinction, Matthew moved to Las Vegas and began his legal career at Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen & Sanders, one of Nevada’s largest insurance defense firms. There, his practice focused upon the defense of medical malpractice, negligence and wrongful death actions against physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, and transportation companies. Prior to joining Battle Born Injury Lawyers, Matthew worked as a partner at the law firm of Arin & Associates, P.C., where his practice focused exclusively upon Plaintiff’s personal injury claims. Matthew is active in a number of professional organizations, including the Clark County Bar Association, Nevada Justice Association, and Citizens for Justice. Matthew is also active with his children’s educational and extra-curricular activities, serving on the Board of Trustees for Journey Education, and he is a Certified Official for USA Swimming through Southern California Swimming and Sandpipers of Nevada. Matthew was named one of the top 150 lawyers in Southern Nevada by Nevada Business Journal and was recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013, and as a Nevada SuperLawyer in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.
