Christie’s knowledge into the inner workings of DCF gives her an insight into dependency proceedings uncommon among family law attorneys. Christie Guerrero joined the law firm in 2012 after graduating top of her class and Magna Cum Laude from Florida Coastal School of Law. While at Florida Coastal, she was a member of the nationally ranked Moot Court team, a Law Review staff editor, and a member of the Phi Delta Phi honors fraternity. The pull that Christie experienced towards family law is unsurprising given her background experience. At the University of Florida, she focused her studies on family, youth, and community sciences. After graduation, Christie solidified her interest in family law while working as a Child Protective Investigator with the Department of Children and Families. Her knowledge into the inner workings of DCF gives her an insight into dependency proceedings uncommon among family law attorneys. Christie also worked as a Guardian Ad Litem, a specially trained representative who serves the unique role of advocating for the children’s best interests in family law and dependency cases. She also clerked for a federal magistrate judge and interned at an appellate law firm, both excellent experiences enhancing her gift for legal writing, analysis, and advocacy. Christie has a love for children which shines through every representation and has influenced her personal choices as well. Christie and her husband are licensed foster parents and work closely with local agencies to help serve children who have come into the dependency system, which are some of the most vulnerable children involved in the entire court system. Christie is the proud mother of a sweet little girl whom she was fortunate enough to adopt after contested litigation ensued. Her personal experience in the legal system through the process of adopting her daughter makes her an unparalleled advocate for anyone going through the same process. Just a few short years after she began practicing law, Christie had the honor of receiving the Leader in the Law award from the Florida Association of Women Lawyers in 2015. Since then, she has been recognized as a Rising Star Super Lawyer for the last three consecutive years. Most recently she was was included in the “Top 10 Under 40” by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys in 2019. Christie prides herself on her strong advocacy for families, especially in their inception. Her pride shines through in her work with the LGBTQ+ families which she serves. Christie is so well versed in the unique needs of LGBTQ+ families that she received the Best Lawyer in Jacksonville award in 2019 during the annual Rainbow Awards Ceremony. Christie is also an active member of the Family Law Inns of Court, Jacksonville Women’s Lawyers Association, Jacksonville Bar Association, and the Florida Adoption Council.

Appellate Law and Health Care Law Christine M. Lugo was born and raised in Miami, Florida where she is currently a practicing attorney at MSP Recovery Law Firm. Christine has been licensed to practice law in the State of Florida for over 6 year, and is also licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Christine focuses her practice in commercial litigation, business disputes, and appellate matters. Christine has argued before the Third District Court of Appeal of Florida, and the Appellate Division of the Circuit Court of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in and for Miami-Dade County, Florida, wherein she has successfully obtained denials of petitions for writs of certiorari, and the reversal of final judgments.

Christopher M. Drury, is a cum laude graduate of both Davidson College and the University of Miami School of Law. Chris is a member of The Florida Bar, the South Carolina Bar, and the Law Society of England and Wales. Chris has handled complex personal injury and commercial cases in state and federal court in multiple jurisdictions. Chris focuses his practice on the prosecution of serious personal injury cases, as well as complex business and commercial disputes, including class actions. Chris has helped clients obtain multi-million dollar recoveries in business litigation, securities litigation, and personal injury and wrongful death cases, as well as a multi-million dollar jury verdict in a maritime personal injury case. Chris has prosecuted multiple catastrophic personal injury cases resulting in 8-figure recoveries, including a boating accident case culminating in a court-approved $12M settlement for a father and son. Chris is a Life Member in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Chris received the honor of recognition among America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators in 2018. Chris was listed in Florida Trend's Legal Elite in 2018 in the area of Civil Trial. Chris was invited to become a member of “The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Civil Plaintiff” in 2017, and is currently an active member in that national "invitation only" organization of trial lawyers. Chris was named to the Florida Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers for 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. Chris was recognized as one the top “40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers of South Florida” by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in 2015, and currently serves as a co-chair of that event. Chris was invited to become a member of “The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 under 40 in 2014”. Chris was recognized as a 2014 Florida Legal Elite “Up and Comer” in the area of Civil Trial. Chris serves on the Board of Directors of the Miami-Dade Trial Lawyers Association. Chris also enjoys a wealth of experience in the defense of a wide variety of banking and insurance-related matters.
