Jackie Armstrong graduated from South Texas College of Law in 1987. She brought with her, pre-lawschool training in municipal law and lobbying from the Texas Municipal League. Also, as an investigator working with the Texas Attorney General and U.S. Dept. Of Justice, she learned how to build evidentiary cases unassailable by the most sophisticated defendants and their attorneys. After years associated with top rated trial firms, Ms. Armstrong opened her employment civil rights practice in January, 1991. She effectively communicates her earnest belief in her clients’ causes to jurors, judges and arbitrators. Defending clients against overly broad non-compete agreements is a sub-specialty. But successes are not only realized in the courtroom. Jackie Armstrong devotes as much energy to successfully resolving disputes through settlement when warranted. Ms. Armstrong is also a tenacious negotiator and has assisted many executives with severance and employment agreements.
