Steven Mezrano didn’t always plan to be a lawyer. Around 2002, his life was changed when he was involved in a motor vehicle collision and subsequently had knee and shoulder surgeries. Faced with mounting medical bills and no mode of transportation, he found himself overwhelmed with the whole process. So when Steven Mezrano tells you he understands what you’re going through, he means it. He’s been through it himself. Mezrano Law Firm is personal to Steven Mezrano. Before applying to law school, he worked for several public relations and marketing firms. He attended Birmingham School of Law and received his license to practice law in 2008. Since starting his legal career, Steven has handled a diverse practice, starting in a domestic relations and criminal defense firm, then moving into personal injury litigation at Shunnarah Personal Injury Attorneys, P.C., where he was promoted within four years to firm management. In 2012, Steven opened Mezrano Law Firm, P. C. so that he could practice law the way he envisioned: with honesty, integrity, and dedication. Since then, he’s handled all personal injury cases, from fender benders to wrongful death. His most notable case for him was an 18-wheeler whose driver lost control and struck a husband and wife. It was complex litigation, but it showed Steven that every client deserves every ounce of attention, and no matter what happens to that person, every person deserves his day in court. Steven prides himself on creating a firm that strives to help others and to be their voice in the courtroom. In addition to his legal services, Steven has a strong commitment to community service. Mezrano Law Firm, P.C., sponsors high school athletics through Friday Night Lights and High School Hoops. The firm also feeds the homeless quarterly to give back to the community. Steven enjoys spending time with his family and tending the family farm in Columbiana when he’s not in the office. He is married to the beautiful Ashley Joseph Mezrano, and they have four exceptional children, all of whom cheer for Alabama (Roll Tide, Roll).

Lee Gresham is a native Alabamian who has the rare distinction of having attended both of the state’s largest universities. He attended Auburn University, where he earned a degree in English, and the University of Alabama, where he earned his law degree. Since graduating from law school, Lee has devoted the last 30 years to representing individuals and businesses in complex injury, product liability, toxic exposure, business cases and commercial disputes. Lee has represented numerous individuals who have developed serious injuries or who have died as a result of exposure to asbestos and to other toxic substances, and he has represented hundreds of individuals who have been injured as a result of medical negligence or from taking dangerously defective pharmaceutical drugs. Lee regularly represents individuals and companies in complex cases involving securities fraud, breach of contract, shareholder claims, business interference, and other types of commercial disputes. Lee takes a personal interest in his clients and their needs, and he believes that getting to know his clients is critical to his role as an advocate and as a counselor. In addition to his work as a “trial lawyer,” Lee has served as corporate counsel for two national companies and one international company, and he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for a successful retail company. He has earned an “AV” rating by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the premier rating publication for lawyers, which means that he has been recognized by other lawyers for achieving “the height of professional excellence” and for exhibiting “the highest levels of skill and integrity.” Lee has been recognized as a Top Lawyer by B-Metro magazine, and he was chosen to be a member of The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Alabama and as a member of Lawyers of Distinction. When he is not practicing law, Lee loves to spend time with his family, play golf, exercise, read novels, watch football and basketball, and teach “Sunday School” at his church, Mountain Brook Community Church. Lee and his wife, Barclay, have been married for 24 years, and they have a daughter, Brooke, who is a sophomore in college, a son, Dru, who is a sophomore in high school, a Havanese dog, and two cats.
