Denise Clark McWatters is a former general counsel of HollyFrontier Corporation in Dallas whose subsequent executive positions included general counsel of Delek US Holdings. Before joining HollyFrontier, she was general counsel at The Beck Group from 2005 through October 2007; Beck’s business encompasses architecture, construction and design. From May 2008 until August 2019, McWatters held the general counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary positions at HollyFrontier and the general partner of Holly Energy Partners. She also held the rank of senior vice president at HollyFrontier. In that capacity, she signed the company’s specialized disclosure report on May 25, 2017, which included its conflict minerals report for 2016. Her move to Delek came in February 2021, when she became executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. The appointment covered Delek US Holdings and Delek Logistics Partners. Delek announced a different arrangement for McWatters in 2026: her employment agreement would expire on June 30, and she would move into consulting. Misty Lavender was named her successor beginning July 1, taking the executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary offices at Delek US Holdings and the logistics partnership’s general partner. McWatters’s consulting agreement began on that same date and specified an end date of June 30, 2028, although either side could terminate it with thirty days’ notice.

"Tara D. Mackey is AZZ Inc.’s chief legal officer, with a listed office in Fort Worth, Texas. Her work is in-house. Before AZZ, Mackey worked at Jackson Walker LLP and held legal leadership positions at Silverleaf Resorts, SuperMedia and Flowserve. She also served as chief legal officer for a venture-capital start-up in the automotive industry. AZZ’s board appointed her chief legal officer and corporate secretary in an announcement dated May 8, 2014.
