Elder Law

100 Pinewood Ln suite 303, Warrendale, PA 15086, USA

Area of Practice: Estate Planning & Elder Law Ashley Sharek is an estate planning attorney who helps families in the Pittsburgh area safeguard their loved ones and their assets. She works with people to create solid legal foundations that protect their financial future and allow them to pass down their values alongside their wealth. Whether a family is traditional, blended, or includes unmarried partners, Ashley guides them through the process of securing their family's well-being for years to come. She focuses on making sense of the complicated legal and financial decisions involved in planning. Her expertise includes family protection, wealth preservation, and special planning strategies for divorced or unmarried individuals. In practice, clients often feel that working with Ashley is a warm, personal experience—not the cold, transactional process that estate planning can sometimes be. For example, she aims to build long-term relationships with clients, helping them adjust their plans as their lives change. Ashley graduated from Westminster College before earning her law degree from Duquesne University Law School. Early in her career, she practiced law in downtown Pittsburgh, focusing on insurance defense, family law, and estate planning. In 2018, she decided to start her own firm, Sharek Law Office, LLC, now Entrusted Legacy Law, because she felt strongly about educating the community on the importance of proper estate planning for everyone, regardless of their family structure or wealth level.

Elder Law

729 Sarah St., Stroudsburg, PA 18360-2262

Lori J. Cerato practices elder law with Cerato & Lombardo, LLP in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. She opened her Stroudsburg practice on August 7, 2000. Estate planning and administration, long-term care planning, guardianship and Orphans’ Court litigation make up its stated focus. Monroe County is the center of her practice, though she has also handled matters in Lackawanna, Lehigh, Northampton, Berks, Carbon, Luzerne, Wayne and Pike counties. Her 2014 presidency of the Monroe County Bar Association included work on the association’s own history: she began an archive project that led to a centennial publication. She also oversaw restoration of the building’s front porch in Stroudsburg’s historic district and brought past presidents and young lawyers together to develop a strategic plan. Separately, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court appointed her to its Orphans’ Court Procedural Rules Committee for the 2014–2019 term. Before opening her office, Cerato spent September 1995 through August 2000 as an associate at the insurance defense firm O’Malley & Harris, P.C., handling civil litigation and appeals across northeastern Pennsylvania. Earlier work included judicial clerkships for Monroe County judges Ronald E. Vican and James R. Marsh. Originally from Scranton, Cerato studied English at the University of Scranton, with a minor in history, and graduated cum laude. Banking work preceded law school. She earned her law degree at Dickinson in 1993; during her final year there, she clerked for the commissioner of Pennsylvania’s Department of Insurance in Harrisburg.
