Sean R. Kenny

Sean R. Kenny is an attorney at The Law Offices of Richard M. Kenny, a New York City personal injury firm. His connection to injury claims predates law school: he was personally involved in a personal injury matter before beginning his legal studies. In his biography, Kenny describes the uncertainty and frustration of that experience and says it continues to inform his work as a lawyer.

Economics was his undergraduate subject at the University of Delaware, where he received a B.S. in 2016. He later attended Charleston School of Law, earning his J.D. in 2022. His professional memberships include the New York State Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.

At the firm, Kenny works alongside his father, founding partner Richard M. Kenny, and partner James P. Lundy. Richard founded the practice in 2002. A family connection also brought Sean to Washington, D.C., for the Irish Legal 100 celebration on October 21, 2026. The honoree was his father; with a prior commitment preventing Richard from attending, Sean went in his place. Away from work, Kenny spends time with family and friends and plays golf. His sports interests extend beyond the golf course: he follows the Mets, Jets, Knicks and Rangers.
