Bankruptcy Law

1524 Mays Landing Rd, Hammonton, NJ 08037, USA

Brian F. Swope is a bankruptcy attorney in Vineland, New Jersey, practicing through the Law Offices of Brian F. Swope, Esquire. Chapter 7 bankruptcy is the focus of his website’s bankruptcy section. Swope says he does his own legal work and speaks with prospective clients himself during the free initial telephone consultation. The published bankruptcy terms call for a flat fee. Clients may arrange to pay legal fees in installments, but the site specifies that those fees must be paid before a petition can be filed. It also says that a case involving more than 30 creditors requires an additional fee quote. Swope also represents people in municipal court. His site names speeding, uninsured driving and driving with a suspended or revoked license among the traffic matters he accepts, alongside careless or reckless driving. In describing how he prepares a defense, he discusses investigating the circumstances of a ticket and negotiating the charge. Police reports and body-camera recordings are among the materials reviewed; witnesses may be questioned where appropriate. For small businesses, the firm lists work on both transactions and litigation. Its services cover starting a business as well as buying or selling one, with commercial leases and contracts also on the list. The firm identifies mediation and arbitration as additional services. Its contact page describes a South Jersey service area that includes Vineland and Folsom.

Bankruptcy Law

25 Abe Voorhees Drive, Manasquan, NJ 08736

Timothy P. Neumann practices bankruptcy, business reorganization and commercial litigation in Manasquan, New Jersey, with Broege, Neumann, Fischer & Shaver, LLC. His work for people and businesses facing debt has included negotiations, defense in state and federal court, Chapter 11 reorganizations and Chapter 7 discharges. A December 2024 biographical release dates his partnership with the firm to 1992. One of his cases, In re Torwico, brought bankruptcy and environmental law together before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Neumann represented the debtor corporation in that Chapter 11 proceeding. The resulting opinion later turned up in a textbook his son used in law school. Not all of that work takes place within a single legal specialty. His practice has involved collaboration with criminal defense, environmental and tax lawyers, as well as public and forensic accountants. Beyond representing clients, he served on the first local rules committee appointed by New Jersey bankruptcy judges after adoption of the current Bankruptcy Code. The committee was charged with developing rules for cases under the Code. A cum laude graduate of New York University School of Law, Neumann has also spoken at seminars and served on conference panels. His work outside paid representation has included local pro bono service and mentoring younger colleagues. Both Monmouth-Ocean Legal Services and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey have recognized his pro bono contributions.
