Grant L. Davis

Personal Injury Law

1100 Main St, Kansas City, MO 64105, USA

During his career, Grant L. Davis has represented people harmed by negligent or intentional acts. He feels a calling to fight for his client’s rights and obtain justice. Grant chose plaintiffs law because it allowed him to fight for those who had been harmed by wrongdoers. He found people were often coming to him in their darkest hour, and being able to help his clients gave meaning to his practice of law. Grant is best known for his track record of winning large jury verdicts. Over time his record of obtaining significant jury verdicts has caused defendants to propose larger settlement offers for his clients before trial. Grant met Scott S. Bethune and Thomas C. Jones while in law school. The three formed a solid friendship and worked together for many years before establishing DBJ in 2001. If Grant isn’t busy in the courtroom, you can find him with his family or giving back to the community.

Personal Injury Law

510 Walnut, Suite 100, Kansas City, MO 64106

James Roswold has been in practice since 1990. While still in law school, he obtained early litigation experience as a member of the Iowa Legal Clinic. During law school, he gained additional litigation experience clerking for a sole practitioner whose practice included personal injury. James is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management in Minneapolis, MN, graduating magna cum laude, and University of Iowa Law School in Iowa City, IA, receiving his law degree and graduating with distinction, and he is admitted to practice law in both State and Federal Courts in Missouri. James started his legal career working for a defense litigation firm, where he handled personal injury, insurance, FELA, and asbestos cases. In a short time working for a defense firm, he gained an insight into "the other side's" preparation of a civil case, something that would become highly useful in his practice just three years later when he joined a law firm in Kansas City, MO and began his career of representing victims of injury accidents and medical negligence. There he was involved in all types of civil litigation, aggressively pursuing personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, consumer fraud, charitable fundraising, property insurance and workers' compensation cases on behalf of injured victims. Two years later, he helped start a law firm in Kansas City, MO representing personal injury victims where he became a partner in 1999. Fourteen years later, James decided he could best serve his clients by opening his own office for the practice of law in cases dealing with injured victims of personal injury, medical negligence, wrongful death, workers compensation, nursing home negligence, premises liability, product liability, and accident cases. James welcomes all calls about any personal injury accident, work injury, nursing home injury, wrongful death, or injury from a doctor or hospital in the State of Missouri. He promises to give you a straightforward honest answer about every question you might ask.
