Steve Faries

Steve Faries is a partner and mass tort trial lawyer at Pulaski Kherkher, PLLC in Houston. Before law, his work was in finance and business systems: at IBM, he served as a financial analyst and project manager on the Space Station Program; at American General Corporation, he was a business systems consultant. His degrees include a BBA and MS in finance from Texas A&M University and a JD from the University of Houston Law Center.

Faries came to Pulaski Kherkher in January 2022 with jury trial experience in Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee and Pennsylvania, in both state and federal courts. An earlier appointment, in 2013, placed him on the Plaintiff Steering Committee for the Mirena IUD products liability litigation in the Southern District of New York.

At Pulaski Kherkher, his first assignment involved preparing dozens of bellwether clients for trial in the 3M military earplug cases. He defended client and expert depositions, questioned defense experts and coordinated discovery and briefing deadlines. By October 2022, he had another assignment: organizing administration of the firm’s Camp Lejeune docket. That work brought together internal and external resources to file thousands of claims. He also assists the Plaintiff Leadership Group with scientific analysis, discovery and bellwether litigation in the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Since December 2024, Faries has also helped coordinate the firm’s Zantac/ranitidine litigation. His work there includes meeting with defense counsel and coordinating firm resources around depositions and resolution deadlines.
