David Emory

San Antonio family law attorney David T. Emory is a partner at Higdon, Hardy & Zuflacht, L.L.P. Probate and collection law also appear among his practice areas, though family law accounts for 90 percent of the practice described in his firm biography. The firm dates his Texas Board of Legal Specialization certification in family law to 2013.

Before law school, Emory earned a B.S. at The American University in Washington, D.C., in 1979. His J.D. followed in 1990 at St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, the same year he was admitted to the Texas bar. From 1994 to 1997, he worked as an associate attorney with Casseb & Pearl, Inc. He subsequently operated the Law Office of David T. Emory as its owner from 1997 through 2003.
