While native to New Orleans, Ms. Manard double majored at the University of California, Santa Barbara, while she competed in Division One cross country and track. Ms. Manard then spent three years as an advocate and educator in both the California and Louisiana public school systems. She received her Juris Doctorate at Tulane Law school, where she participated in the juvenile justice pro bono clinic. Upon graduating from Tulane Law, she devoted the first few years of her legal career to juvenile advocacy, helping children who had been abused and neglected. Ms. Manard then started her private practice as a personal injury lawyer with the continued goal to serve both adults and children who have been injured or taken advantage of. She has been admitted to practice law by both the California and Louisiana Bar Associations.
