Attorney Viviana A. Quijano is the founder and managing partner of Quijano Law. She is a graduate of The University of Alabama School of Law, and her practice is focused on U.S. Immigration Law. She is a member of the Alabama Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the Colombian Bar Association in the Republic of Colombia. Mrs. Quijano routinely speaks at community events in the southeast regarding immigration law in the United States. Mrs. Quijano is fluent in Spanish and English, and she has broad experience with family, humanitarian, and labor related immigration matters. She represents clients before the various government agencies that administer U.S. Immigration Law, including USCIS, AAO, DOL, DOS, and EOIR (immigration court) among others. Working through the various agencies, she obtains waivers, visas, lawful permanent residence (green cards) and naturalization for clients with lawful paths to such benefits, including victims of crime, unaccompanied minors, and employment-based immigrants. Mrs. Quijano also represents clients before the Immigration Courts where she advocates on behalf of immigrants in deportation and removal proceedings.
