Tom Stilwell Personal Injury Law

Tom first started trying cases at the international law firm Fulbright & Jaworski, LLP (now known as Norton Rose). After becoming a partner at Fulbright, Tom successfully represented aviation manufacturers, oil field equipment manufactures, and exploration & production companies in all types of commercial, personal injury, and product liability litigation. Tom later joined Baker Hostetler’s energy team where he tried cases dealing with on-shore gas drilling, hydraulic fracturing, and oil field explosions. Tom became one of the national trial counsel for an international oilfield equipment manufacturer handling losses caused by explosions, fires, blowouts, valve failures and human error. Just as often, Tom enforced the company’s contractual rights under its master service agreements, pursuing recovery of defense, indemnity and insurance costs. Tom graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1991 with a degree in Economics and obtained his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center (cum laude) in 1994.
