Theresa, an equity partner at Villari, Brandes & Giannone, P.C., graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1992, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree with high distinction. She then went on to the Widener University School of Law, where she received her law degree with honors in 1995. While attending law school Theresa was named a member of the prestigious Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, first as a member of the staff and later as a member of the board.
Upon graduating from law school, Theres
a was selected to serve as a law clerk to the Honorable James N. Diefenderfer, President Judge of the Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas (retired). As a law clerk for two years Theresa gained extensive research and writing experience and played a key role in helping draft civil court opinions and rulings. Theresa next worked as an associate at a small general practice firm, where she gained a wide range of legal experience, including in the areas of bankruptcy law, family law, and divorce proceedings, but worked primarily in the area of plaintiff's personal injury litigation.
Since joining Villari, Brandes & Giannone, P.C., Theresa continues to represent victims of personal injury, with a concentration in medical malpractice cases, tractor-trailer collision cases and other major personal injury matters. Her dedication to her clients and persistent efforts on their behalf are two of her most valued assets. Theresa is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C.
