Robert Stearns was born in Trenton, Michigan and grew up in the Greater Detroit Area. He attended Wayne State University in Detroit, where in his third year, he was the co-Chair of the Law School’s national mock trial team. After graduation, he practiced plaintiff’s personal injury and employment law for several years, before co-founding his own law firm in 2005. Shortly thereafter, he and his law partner opened a second law firm devoted entirely to representing debtors in bankruptcy proceedings. He operated these two successful firms for several years, before moving to San Antonio in 2016. Prior to joining Brock Guerra, Robert worked for one of the largest plaintiff’s personal injury firms in Texas and was involved in multiple multi-million dollar cases
