Roaa Al-Heeti is a partner at Maatuka Al-Heeti Emkes LLC in Champaign, Illinois, she concentrates her practice on immigration, real estate, estate planning, and probate litigation. Her diverse practice includes serving clients ranging from international corporations to local businesses and families. Roaa is a 2007 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law. She also earned her B.S. in 2004 and M.S. in 2007 from the University of Illinois’ College of Media. She began her career in her hometown of Champaign and continues to practice there. Roaa served as an adjunct professor at the College of Law during the summer of 2018.
She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the East Central Illinois Women Attorneys Association, and other professional groups. Roaa was named to "40 under 40" by Central Illinois Business Magazine, won the 2014 Global Mobility & Immigration Award, and received the 2018 Welcome Award for Distinguished Leadership in Champaign-Urbana.
