Mr. Joseph M. Pastore III is a leading securities and commercial litigator. He received his B.A., cum laude, from Bucknell University, in 1998. He then attended Pace University School of Law on a full law trustee scholarship, where he served as managing editor of a national law review and earned a Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, in 1991. He has served as Managing Partner of two regional offices of American Lawyer 200 firms and was on the executive committee of an American Lawyer 100 firm. Mr. Pastore is the former Managing Partner and founder of Pastore & Dailey LLC, a national firm with multiple offices and clients across the country and was recently named Chairman of the firm. He has handled many regulatory and litigation disputes throughout his career and has had extensive experience negotiating commercial matters as well as handling banking and insurance issues. He has almost 30 years of experience in matters involving securities & corporate finance and business litigation. Mr. Pastore has published numerous articles concerning securities law, technology and corporate governance. Mr. Pastore is admitted in the New York and Connecticut and the Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, Western District of New York, and the District of Connecticut. He is admitted before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to being recognized by Lawyers of Distinction for excellence in the practice of law, Mr. Pastore has been ranked AV Preeminent for 15 consecutive years. He also has been named as a Super Lawyer for New York and New England several times.
