Jillian has considerable experience advising clients in all aspects of matrimonial and family law, including pre- and post-nuptial agreements, custody and access, divorce negotiation and litigation, equitable distribution, and spousal and child support issues. Before joining the firm, Jillian was an Assistant District Attorney in the Appeals Bureau of the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office where she regularly researched, wrote and argued appellate briefs before the Appellate Division, First Department. In May 2006, Jillian successfully argued before the New York State Court of Appeals. Jillian has been named a “Rising Star” in family law by New York Super Lawyers every year since 2012. She has lectured at various professional seminars on the topic of Equitable Distribution and Maintenance, including to the New York State Bar Association. Jillian received her B.A. degree from Brandeis University where she graduated cum laude and was on the Dean’s List for 7 terms. She graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 2003 where she received the prestigious Academic Achievement Scholar award.
