Bryan Donahue

Bryan Donahue is an attorney with the Donahue Law Firm in Bend, Oregon, whose listed practice is DUII and criminal defense. Before opening the firm’s first Bend office, he worked in Vancouver, Washington, and at a civil litigation firm in downtown Portland. His earlier work spans both sides of civil litigation, along with personal injury, family law and estate planning.

Courtroom work began before Donahue finished law school, when he represented clients in court and at trial. At Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, where he earned his law degree, he also served as president of the Student Trial Lawyers Association. His work on the Environmental Law Review included managing its online publication as a third-year student.

Donahue’s undergraduate degree is from the University of Oregon, where he graduated magna cum laude with departmental honors. During college, he competed in track and field and earned an athletic scholarship. Raised in and around Salem, he had been visiting Bend since childhood before eventually moving there to establish his firm.

DUII conference presentations are another part of his professional work. He has spoken at multiple conferences about DUII trials, Drug Recognition Evaluators and breath-testing equipment, including the Intoxilyzer 8000 and devices that use infrared or fuel-cell technology. Away from the office, his activities include snowmobiling, paddling the Deschutes and surfing. Rebuilding cars and remodeling are among his indoor interests.
