About Winston
Winston H. Connor II is an attorney in Jay, Oklahoma, where Stockwell & Connor, PLLC lists him as its owner. His office is in Delaware County, and his firm biography places most of his practice in northeastern Oklahoma courts. It lists Oklahoma admission as well as admission to the federal courts for the Northern and Western Districts of Oklahoma.
Ottawa and Delaware counties were also the setting for his earlier work as a prosecutor. Connor held an assistant district attorney position in the 13th Judicial District and was its lead trial attorney until May 1996. That same month, he entered private practice. His education took him from Tahlequah to Fayetteville: he completed his undergraduate degree at Northeastern State University in 1986 and graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law in December 1989. He subsequently passed the Oklahoma bar examination before beginning his prosecutorial career.
From 2013 to 2017, Connor held a seat on the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association board. Among the professional affiliations listed in his biography are the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Oklahoma Bar Association, including its Criminal and Family Law sections.
Stockwell & Connor describes its service area as statewide. The firm identifies Ottawa, Delaware, Craig, Mayes, Cherokee, Adair and Tulsa as the counties accounting for most of its cases.
