Linda Lawrence

Linda J. Lawrence practices family law in Columbus, Ohio, as a founding partner of Lawrence Law Office. Before concentrating on family matters, she worked at a large firm in corporate, tax and estate planning law. Those subjects remain part of her professional background; her practice today also includes estate planning advice for individuals and families and corporate counsel for businesses.

Divorce is one part of Lawrence’s family law work, alongside custody, visitation, adoption and prenuptial agreements. She holds the Ohio State Bar Association’s board certification in family law. Her work takes her into court for divorce trials, but she is also trained as a family law mediator. In a separate capacity, she serves as a guardian ad litem, advocating for children’s best interests in court proceedings.

At the University of Cincinnati, Lawrence studied psychology and music, completing her bachelor’s degree in 1987. She earned her law degree there in 1990. Her published writing addresses estate planning and family law.

Lawrence’s involvement outside her practice has included planned giving committee work for Prevent Blindness Ohio, The Columbus Academy, Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio and Grady Hospital Foundation.

She and Rodd S. Lawrence are the founding partners of Lawrence Law Office, established in 1996. The firm serves Columbus, Franklin County and other Central Ohio communities, with offices in Columbus and Delaware.
