Brian Perskin

Brian D. Perskin is a Brooklyn divorce and family law attorney whose cases include matrimonial disputes and child custody matters. He represents men and women, and is the founder of his firm, which has offices in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Custody is also a subject of his writing. His book How to Win Custody is directed at parents involved in custody disputes; another book, Winning Divorce Strategies, discusses ways to pursue goals in a divorce. His other writing covers fathers’ rights and the custody rights of non-parents, as well as divorce strategy. Financial subjects appear in that work, too, including pension fund assets and attorneys’ fees. In speaking engagements on family law, he has addressed depositions in marriage proceedings and judges’ views on equitable distribution.

Before his legal career, Perskin attended Brandeis University, receiving his B.A. in 1987. His undergraduate studies also included time at the London School of Economics. Washington College of Law awarded him a J.D. in 1990. His court admissions include New York State and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts.

The firm’s Brooklyn office is on Court Street. Its Manhattan office is on East 42nd Street, and its team includes partner Evan S. Seckular alongside attorneys and associate attorneys.
