Morgan Whitlock

Morgan A. Whitlock is the founding attorney of Whitlock Law, LLC, a personal injury firm with an office in Silver Spring, Maryland. Her practice centers on automobile, tractor-trailer and motorcycle accidents, and she also litigates premises liability and police brutality cases. She has litigated in district and circuit courts in Maryland and Virginia.

Whitlock established her firm in 2017 after working at personal injury firms in Virginia and Washington, D.C., and founding Roeser & Whitlock, LLP. Her tenure as an attorney at Roeser & Whitlock ran from 2011 to 2017. She belongs to the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Maryland Association for Justice.

Public service was part of Whitlock’s legal education at the University of the District of Columbia’s David A. Clarke School of Law, where she earned her J.D. cum laude in 2008. During her third year, she provided more than 800 hours of pro bono legal services, representing indigent individuals in Washington under an attorney-professor’s direct supervision. She also served on the Judiciary Committee of the Student Body Association.

As a teaching assistant for Katrina Law, Whitlock worked with a course addressing government responsibilities during national disasters and legal obligations to provide relief. She separately volunteered in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. The law school awarded her its Dean’s Cup for public service.

Whitlock grew up in Wilson, North Carolina. Before law school, she attended North Carolina State University, played tennis for the Wolfpack and earned a B.A. in 2002.
