An attorney with more than a decade of litigation experience, Ms. Holloway represents clients in family law matters including divorce, separation agreements, child support and custody, child support modification, child custody modification, and paternity. Ms. Holloway has successfully negotiated and settled cases. Yet, in those matters that cannot be settled, she is prepared to aggressively represent clients in all stages of litigation including discovery, motions practice, and trial. During the course of her legal career, Ms. Holloway has tried more than 150 cases in the Courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia. With an understanding and compassion for the delicate issues associated with divorce, child custody disputes, and other family law matters, Ms. Holloway is committed to obtaining positive results for each of her clients. Ms. Holloway currently serves as the President of the Montgomery County Commission for Women. In this role, Ms. Holloway works with14 other Commissioners to identify areas of law and policies that impact women and girls disparately and to advocate for remedies to these inequities.

Co-Managing Partner McCabe Russel, a private family law firm in Maryland, Heather McCabe earned her Juris Doctorate degree from The George Washington University Law School in 1997. Shortly thereafter, she was admitted to the Maryland state bar later that year. Heather has many professional affiliations including the Maryland Association for Justice, the D.C. Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association, the Howard County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Maryland LGBT Bar Association. Ms. Murray is an aggressive trial attorney that really cares about and understands her clients. She put herself through school working in fast food, video stores, bars, restaurants, retail stores, and law firms. She will jokingly refer to her time in Marine Corp boot camp as her longest vacation ever. As a result of Ms. Murray’s unique route to becoming an attorney, most clients feel that she can better relate to them and understand their concerns in a way that most conventional attorneys cannot. ? Prior to starting her own firm, Ms. Murray worked in various law firms as support staff for approximately twelve (12) years, while going to school at night. She then proceeded to work at a large AV rated law firm for more than four (4) years as an associate attorney. ? Now that Ms. Murray has started her own law firm, she is free to practice the areas of law that she is most passionate about. She also teaches law as an adjunct professor at Baltimore County Community College and serves as a Court Appointed Mediator for Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Carroll County, Howard County, Anne Arundel County, and Frederick County. ? Ms. Murray is married with three wonderful little girls. When she is not practicing law or teaching, you can find her hanging out with her family, at the gym, or reading teen fiction novels.
