Michael V. Foglia

Michael V. Foglia is a managing partner of Furdock & Foglia Law LLP in St. Petersburg, Florida. His work includes motor vehicle accident and other personal injury claims, consumer claims under state and federal law, and tax matters involving the Employee Retention Credit (ERC). He represents individuals as well as businesses, with small businesses among his ERC clients.

Before taking on those matters, Foglia worked on the defense side of civil cases for insurance companies and their insureds. His firm biography describes that earlier work as involving both Florida and national carriers. He later joined Michael Furdock, who had been his roommate in law school; the two now run Furdock & Foglia together.

A native of Wayne, New Jersey, Foglia studied marketing at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. He completed his bachelor’s degree in three years, graduating cum laude. His undergraduate years also included two internships: one with New Jersey Senator Anthony R. Bucco and another in the New Jersey Superior Court’s Chancery/General Equity Division. He played on the university’s men’s volleyball team.

Foglia went on to Stetson University College of Law, graduating in 2022. His Florida Bar admission followed on April 11, 2023. The Bar lists him under his full name, Michael Vito Foglia, and identifies him as a member in good standing who is eligible to practice law in Florida.
