About Manuel

Manuel Casabielle is a Miami lawyer and partner at Boyd Richards Parker Colonnelli, PL. Before joining the firm, he practiced under his own name at Manuel L. Casabielle, P.A., which he opened in 1989. Earlier private practice included a partnership in a small litigation firm, where his work covered both criminal and civil cases in state and federal courts.

Casabielle also served as a prosecutor. Janet Reno hired him in 1983 for the State Attorney’s Office in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit; his trial assignments there ranged from bench trials to serious felony prosecutions. His introduction to civil practice came during law school, through a summer clerkship with a Miami firm. A smaller civil litigation firm in the same city hired him before he graduated.

His education began locally and continued at the University of Florida. A graduate of Coral Gables Senior High School, he earned an associate degree at Miami-Dade Community College before completing a bachelor’s degree in business administration with honors at Florida. He remained at the university for law school, graduating in 1982.

Born in Santa Clara, Cuba, Casabielle arrived in the United States as a small child in 1961. Miami has been his home for most of his life. The Florida Bar lists him in good standing and eligible to practice. His federal admissions include Florida’s Southern and Middle District courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
