Danay Acevedo

Danay Acevedo is a Miami personal injury attorney and the managing partner of Miami Legal Firm. Her Florida Bar record lists her as eligible to practice and a member in good standing, with an admission date of May 8, 2012. Personal injury has been her field of practice since that admission.

Her path to ownership began at Miami Legal Associates, which she joined in 2012. A partnership at Miami Legal Group followed two years later. In 2017, Acevedo acquired the firm and assumed the managing partner position at the practice now called Miami Legal Firm. She remains identified as managing partner on the firm’s team page. The Florida Bar lists her firm address as 5757 Blue Lagoon Drive, Suite 320, Miami.

Before entering practice, Acevedo studied philosophy and pre-law at Barry University. She received her Bachelor of Arts in 2006 and graduated cum laude. Her education also includes a Master’s in Business Administration from Florida International University. At St. Thomas University School of Law, she completed her law degree in 2011, the year before her Florida Bar admission.

Acevedo’s birthplace is Sagua La Grande, Cuba. She came to the United States in 1994 with her parents; the firm’s account of her background describes Miami as her home.
