Annette Lopez

Annette Lopez is a real estate attorney and title insurance agent in Coral Gables, Florida, and the founder of Lopez Teal Real Estate Law & Title. The Florida Bar lists her as Annette López Teal, also using the name Annette Lopez, and confirms that she is in good standing and eligible to practice in Florida.

Lopez established her firm in 2013. Earlier in her career, she worked on property rights at Brigham Moore LLP and subsequently joined Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart, P.A. Her academic background includes Boston College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. She graduated cum laude from both institutions and was an associate editor of the law review at Miami.

In her transaction work, Lopez negotiates purchase and sale agreements, represents clients on commercial leases and handles loan refinancing. She also issues title opinions and facilitates closings. Clearing title issues and obtaining title insurance are part of her work with residential, investment and commercial properties, including real estate developments. Developers and national corporations also retain her as outside general real estate counsel for ongoing property matters and investments.
