Attorney Nancy Baskin brings over twenty-five years of experience in the field of family law to her clients’ cases. She graduated from Dartmouth College cum laude in 1981 and, after spending a year working for the United States Senate, attended New York University School of Law, from which she received her J.D. in 1985. After two years of practicing commercial real estate in a large law firm in Manhattan, Ms. Baskin began exclusively practicing domestic relations law in 1988, first at the premier Manhattan divorce law firm now known as Aronson, Mayefsky & Sloan, LLP for approximately five years and then, upon relocating to Boston in 1993, with a Boston domestic relations firm for five years. After practicing in the domestic relations department of a large law firm for over two years, Ms. Baskin opened her own practice in Boston in March 2001. Ms. Baskin’s firm has since grown to three attorneys, all exclusively practicing domestic relations law. She is widely regarded as a preeminent practitioner in the field of family law.

Chris R. Basler is a successful and persuasive negotiator and litigator who offers both bundled and unbundled services. Ms. Bass is a twenty- four (24) year civil trial lawyer with successful litigation experience in numerous state and federal courts throughout the country. She was affiliated with a boutique law firm located in CA and HI for over 20 years (from her office in Aspen) specializing in the defense of admiralty and recreational scuba diving cases involving wrongful death, intellectual property, product liability and professional negligence (trademark clients included “BodyGlove,” and “Greg Noll– Hawaiian Big Wave Surfer” surfboards and clothing line). Her practice areas include, employment, construction, real estate development, commercial/business and appellate work.

Sam has extensive trial experience in criminal and family law courts throughout Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 1988. He has been Board Certified in Criminal Law since 1994. Sam practices primarily criminal and family law. Sam has been voted by his peers to be included in the Best Lawyers In America and Texas Monthly’s Superlawyers publications. He also holds the highest rating possible by Martindale-Hubbel. In 2014, the publication Best Lawyers in America designated Sam as Lawyer of the Year for Austin, Texas in the area of criminal defense. Sam is licensed in State and Federal court. Sam was appointed by the Governor of Texas to the Texas Forensic Science Commission in 2005, where he served as its Presiding Officer until September, 2009. Sam frequently teaches trial advocacy at continuing education events for attorneys. He also served on the State Bar of Texas Grievance Panel for District 9 from 2004 until 2010, when his term expired as Chair of the Panel. Sam presently serves as President of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.

For 20 years, Leslie has provided efficient, creative, energized, and personalized employment and ERISA representation to clients on all sides of employment and benefit matters. Leslie also counsels clients in connection with governmental investigations and other regulatory matters involving benefits issues and executive compensation agreements. Leslie has helped countless clients navigate employment transitions with ease, providing empathetic, efficient employment strategies and solutions to executives, individuals, boards of directors, and human resources professionals. Leslie has a unique ability to evaluate a matter from a holistic perspective and to create and negotiate a workable solution for all involved. Perhaps equally importantly, she has counseled and resolved numerous disputes in early stages, preserving the goals of cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and discretion for her clients. Leslie “balances” her legal career with her active single parenting of her two sons and their puppies. She can often be found watching her boys play baseball, walking puppies in the park, or cheerfully feeding and hydrating her sons and their twenty closest friends. Leslie has maintained her commitment to giving back to the community by, among other things, representing children in the juvenile justice process and advocating for victims of child trafficking.
