Steve W. Marsee assists clients throughout Central Florida in complex marital and family law matters, including divorce, child custody and support, and property distribution. Mr. Marsee attended the University of Miami School of Law and the University of Central Florida, where he received his undergraduate degree in legal studies with a minor in criminal justice. Before embarking on his legal career as an Orlando divorce attorney, Mr. Marsee became one of the youngest Chiefs of Police in the country at the age of 29, having received national acclaim as Florida’s most successful undercover drug agent while serving as investigator in charge of intelligence and organized crime for the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. Through his work in law enforcement, Mr. Marsee gained valuable experience in negotiating complex issues with a wide variety of people and dealing with high-stress, high-stakes situations. Edlin Martin is the founder of Martin Family Law Group. Her practice focuses on Family Law and Estate Planning. Prior to founding her own practice, Ms. Martin was a senior Family Law associate attorney, where she specialized in litigation of high-conflict Family Law issues such as domestic violence restraining orders, move-away cases, and child custody and visitation arrangements. Ms. Martin has devoted much of her career to helping children and other victims of violence in family law and related immigration matters. Ms. Martin is particularly proud of her contribution to the drafting of California bill AB-1678, which was signed into law in 2016. The bill expanded the right of victims of violent crimes to get a free copy of their incident report from law enforcement agencies. Since 1995, Jennipher R.
