Kessler Law Group was founded by Eric W. Kessler in 1983 when he graduated cum laude from Arizona State University Law School. Eric initially focused his practice on civil, criminal, family, and juvenile court matters. He was also experienced in the niche practice of tax lien foreclosures, having clerked for several firms that represented tax lien investors. Mr. Kessler quickly became known throughout the country as one of the most knowledgeable and experienced tax lien attorneys in Arizona. His client base expanded to national equity firms that invest in Arizona tax liens. Currently, Kessler Law Group processes more tax liens each year than any other law firm in Arizona. The firm is a member of the National Tax Lien Association. Eric also found success in criminal law, which lead to his certification in 1995 by the Arizona Supreme Court as qualified lead counsel in death penalty cases. He was also chosen to be one of the few lead attorneys for capital cases in Maricopa County by the Maricopa County Capital Representation Committee. Eric has also expanded his criminal practice to include white collar and other serious criminal defense cases, both in state and federal court. Mr. Kessler currently practices in the following areas: serious crimes defense work, tax lien foreclosures, family law, and civil litigation.

In addition to being an attorney, Jerry is also a licensed clinical social worker. He takes a very different approach to the practice of family law. Jerry seeks to help his clients see the big picture during moments of crisis. He takes the time with his clients to understand what's important to them during these times. Divorce and custody cases can be very adversarial. Winning often means that it's the children who lose. Jerry works with his clients to do what is necessary to protect their children and their families. Before his work in the legal world, Jerry worked as a family therapist and social worker with DHR. He has the experience and knowledge to assist his clients who are involved with "the system." Jerry understands that frequently clients do not know the rights that they have when DHR is in the picture. He believes that we are all more than our biggest mistake. Jerry helps his clients overcome the issues that brought DHR into their home. Jerry is a lifelong resident of Cullman and a graduate of Hanceville High School. He takes pride in helping families in his community and nearby communities.
