Letters of Recommendation 1) Corporal Sean S. Batterson (retired) PA State Police (1991-2018) "It is with great respect and admiration that lwrite this letter with regards to Attorney Daniel Glassmire. He is known as a great defense attorney who is well respected for his professionalism and integrity. I first met him in the court room in the fall of 1995. I was a young State Trooper stationed in Potter County and had the opportunity to attend court with him serving as a defense attorney on numerous occasions. The first several court appearances with Attorney Glassmire were very eye opening to me as a young Trooper. I lost numerous cases against him over my first several years on the job. I viewed those losses as learning experiences which taught me to be better prepared for court and more professional in my job. I never realized how those initial encounters and the encounters to follow over the years would help mold me into the person I am today. I have since retired from the Pennsylvania State Police and have gotten to know Dan on a more personal level. I find myself holding him in the highest regard both professional and personally." 2) Wayne A. Hathaway (President) Coudersport Borough Council "I have had the pleasure and honor of knowing Daniel Glassmire in excess of forty years as my wife's and my personal attorney and as the Solicitor for Coudersport Borough. I am President of Coudersport Borough Council and have worked with the gentleman on many issues. Mr. Glassmire is probably, after my father and father-in-law, the man I admire the most for his honesty and integrity. I could not recommend Dan any higher for this honor." 3) John A. Nordquist, Surveyor "I have a small survey office in Coudersport, PA. in the county of Potter, Where I have managed to make a living for the past 40 years. I have known Dan Glassmire, as a lawyer, a friend, and someone I could turn to for help if I needed. Dan and I have been in court, on the same and opposite sides, where I learned Dan always did his research and was well prepared. We have reviewed many property issues, from boundary disputes to subdivision and land development plans together. I've gone to him with legal questions and has always taken the time to explain things to me. I have great respect for Dan Glassmire."
