Renée K. Gucciardo began her career by graduating from Michigan State University in 1989 and from the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in 1992. After working with the Jackson County Prosecutor from 1991 to 1993, she then became an Assistant Oakland County Prosecutor from 1993 to 1998. During that time she acted as an instructor for both the Oakland Police Academy, teaching cadets criminal law and controlled substance procedure, and for the Michigan Prosecuting Attorney’s Association, where she taught courtroom procedure, evidentiary law, and how to try a case.

Jacob Gudenkauf has spent his career in and around the courtroom. During law school, he clerked with the Oregon Department of Justice as well as the Honorable Elizabeth Weishaupl in Colorado's 18th Judicial District. Prior to joining Resnick & Louis, Jake worked in a variety of areas of the law but always remained focused on litigation. He has experience handling complex construction disputes, professional liability claims, constitutional torts, class actions, securities litigation, coverage issues, and a variety of other civil and commercial disputes. Jacob also has handled environmental cases, specifically pertaining to environmental contractors and consultants experience, demolition including abatement, fire & water restoration, industrial maintenance/cleaning/painting, and industrial maintenance/cleaning/painting. Jacob's focus is on first seeking to understand his client's goals and story. Whether through facilitating an early resolution or pursuing a matter through trial and final judgment, Jacob always seeks to find creative solutions to the problems that face his clients and to help them to reach their goals. When not in the office, Jake enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and cheering for his beloved Colorado Buffaloes. Jacob is licensed to practice law in Colorado and Utah.

Mr. Guerra is the founder of Guerra Law Group, with offices in McAllen, TX; Houston, TX; and Rio Grande City, TX. Mr. Guerra has represented thousands of clients who have been injured due to the negligence of others, including auto accidents, premises liability claims, defective drugs, defective medical devices, and defective products. Mr. Guerra brings to the law office a diverse background as an assistant district attorney, an associate attorney with Lewis, Pettit and Hinojosa, and years of experience in private practice.
