Steven Floyd has 20 years of experience in trial work and handling personal injury, automobile and trucking accidents, workers’ compensation and domestic cases. His undergraduate degree is in Business Resource Management, cum laude from Troy State University. He also has an Associate degree in Fire Science from Wallace Community College. He graduated from Jones School of Law in December 1997 and was admitted into the practice of law in May 1998. He further served on the Jones Law Review. Mr. Floyd's main area of practice is personal injury, including auto and 18-wheeler accidents, workers compensation, medical malpractice and domestic. He has also represented many slip-and-fall victims, as well as victims of fraud. He has a heart for injured Alabama workers as the law is especially challenging against their interests. Mr. Floyd strives to provide his clients with a fair assessment of their cases, a clear direction to success and the highest level of professionalism.

David W. Foley honed his criminal law and litigation skills as a Deputy District Attorney in the Fourth Judicial District. As a Deputy District Attorney, Mr. Foley prosecuted misdemeanor and felony criminal offenses and handled a wide variety of criminal procedure issues. As a former prosecutor, Mr. Foley appreciates the importance of defending the rights of the accused, and uses all available means to ensure that his clients receive high caliber representation and access to justice. His clients come from all walks of life and need a law firm with an experienced, creative criminal defense lawyer who gets the right results. Mr. Foley has earned an outstanding reputation in the Colorado Springs legal community and is known for his efforts to repair an often-unjust criminal justice system. His reputation comes by way of hard work, belief in his clients, and an intimate knowledge of Colorado criminal law and procedure. In addition to his criminal law practice, Mr. Foley also applies his litigation skills to family law, divorce, child custody and child support. He earned his B.A. from Drake University before attending University of North Dakota School of Law, where he earned his J.D.

South Bend has been my home for the majority of my life, starting from my high school years at St. Joseph High School to my accounting and law degrees from the University of Notre Dame. My career began in accounting, working for Touche Ross in Chicago, but the pull towards law was irresistible. Attending Notre Dame Law School was a transformative experience, leading me back to Chicago to work in insurance defense before finally returning to South Bend. In 1995, my partner at the time, Doug Small (retired in 2023) and I established Foley & Small, now called Foley & Murphy. This was driven by a shared desire to advocate for those harmed by negligence.
