Mario Castellitto understands that honesty, mutual respect, and the trust that comes with it form the foundation of a successful attorney-client relationship. Mario has spent his entire career handling a broad range of litigated matters in state and federal courts from inception through trial, including civil and criminal defense, insurance coverage disputes, and commercial cases. Mario focuses his practice in the defense of construction accident, construction defect, professional liability, premises liability, property damage and, motor vehicle matters. His insurance coverage practice includes coverage counseling and all aspects of insurance and reinsurance litigation. He is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and Association of the Bar of the City of New York where he formerly served as Secretary of the Criminal Courts Committee and Member of the Criminal Law Committee. Mario is a frequent lecturer on insurance coverage and defense topics. A graduate of Fordham University, Mario earned his law degree, cum laude, from Pace University School of Law, where he served as a Research and Writing Editor with the Pace Law Review. As a third-year law student, Mario prosecuted misdemeanor domestic violence cases as a Student District Attorney with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office in Pace’s first prosecutorial Criminal Justice Clinic program. He also served as the student liaison to the faculty Intern Advisory Board. He is the recipient of the New York State Bar Association, Committee on Legal Education & Admission to the Bar, 1993 Law Student Legal Ethics Award. Outside the courtroom, Mario is an avid Yankee fan, equestrian, and martial arts practitioner. He has always been an active member of his community, formerly serving as a Little League Baseball coach and Pop Warner Youth Tackle League Football coach. He is a Second-Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and Tae Kwon Do Instructor in training. As a member of the Pelham Bay Equestrian Association, Mario assisted in securing funding for major capital improvements to the public equestrian trail ways in lower Westchester and Bronx Counties. He now serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Access Equestrian, a not-for-profit organization providing adaptive riding and horsemanship programs for persons with disabilities in the lower Hudson Valley.

After enlisting in the Ohio Army National Guard as a Military Police Officer in 2012, Alex spent most of his six years with the Army on active duty as the Training Sergeant for the 324th Military Police Company out of Middletown, Ohio. While on active duty and travelling throughout the Nation, Alex never ceased taking classes and placed his education above all while gearing up to tackle Law School. Alex attended the University of Cincinnati, obtaining his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies before moving on to Northern Kentucky University - Chase College of Law. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and his Military Duties, Alex successfully completed a Semester in Practice with Merk & Gile, PLC and graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 2020 where he went on to pass the next offered bar exam. Upon obtaining his License to practice Law, Alex opened his own solo practice where he began by assisting Landlords and Tenants navigate the issues that arise in the context of the Landlord/Tenant relationship. Additionally, Alex successfully assisted many clients in their Probate/Estate Administration and Planning, Business Litigation, Personal Injury Matters, and Real Estate transactions that arose outside the Landlord/Tenant relationship. Michael Cassone, being opposing counsel to Alex on many matters, took notice of Alex's prowess, wit, passion, attention to detail, and unique but successful approach to many situations and subsequently offered Alex a position as an Associate Attorney with Cassone Law Offices, LLC and immediately placed Alex on the track to Partner.
