Chumahan is the Senior Partner of Ovando Bowen LLP. During law school, Chumahan apprenticed in litigation at a prestigious class action firm. After passing the bar, Chumahan advanced to litigation associate, gained experience in appellate litigation and climbed to junior partner faster than any associate in the firm’s history. With litigation expertise, research excellence and a sense of the future developments in the legal field, Chumahan created his own firm focusing on Business law and Estate Planning. Chumahan is an active Member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, State Bar of California, Orange County Bar Association. Chumahan is licensed to practice before all the Federal Courts. Chumahan received a B.A. in English from University of California, Berkeley. While at Berkeley Chumahan received the James Phellon Fellowship. After, Chumahan received his M.F.A. in Screenwriting from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). While at UCLA Chumahan received the Eydie Gorme Fellowship. He then went on to receive his J.D. from Pepperdine University. Chumahan is also a Certified Professional Coach and Leadership Coach. Chumahan also earned a professional certificate in the Straus School of Dispute Resolution. Chumahan is an American Indian from the Jamestown S’Kllalam Tribe and the Bad River Oneida Tribe. Chumahan was born in Orange County and raised on the Puyallup Indian Reservation. Prior to becoming an attorney, Chumahan was a Screenwriter and assistant to prominent producers John Davis and Wyck Godfrey. Chumahan continues to write and has several film and documentary projects in development. For the last ten years Chumahan has studied Lacanian psychoanalysis, Chumahan is a fan of philosophers Slavoj Žižek and Graham Harman. He enjoys traveling around the world, learning new languages (conversational Spanish), and being a dad (Papa).

Kathy Bower is the managing partner at the Southbury branch of Gager, Bower & Scalzo, LLP. She is admitted to practice law in three states: Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. Kathy also practices in State and Federal Courts in a wide variety of civil matters. Kathy is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego and received her Juris Doctor Degree from Hofstra University School of Law. She began her legal career in 1987 at the Manhattan office of Thurm & Heller; she joined Gager in 1990 and became partner in 1994. Kathy presently serves as a Special Master in the United States District Court. She also serves as an Attorney Trial Referee Arbitrator and Fact Finder at the Superior Court. She was admitted to the United States Supreme Court in 2011.
