Jordana Better is an experienced family law attorney whose practice focuses on dissolution, support issues, high-value asset separations, and child custody disputes. With a goal-oriented approach, she focuses on seeking settlement when possible while preparing the best/strongest case for trial, in case necessary. Jordana has practiced throughout the state of California but has extensive expertise in Los Angeles, San Diego, and the Bay Area. Jordana graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a double major in Communications and Political Science. After college, she became a Marketing Director in the Bay Area, prior to following her passion for the law and attending Syracuse University. While at Syracuse, she clerked for the Hon. Ralph C. Hofer, in the Los Angeles County Family Law Courts, was a founding member of the SUCOL Divorce Clinic, was a student attorney for Utica Corporate Counsels Office, and clerked for one of the top divorce firms in the Bay Area.

Rick Biagi, a Member of Neal & McDevitt, joined the firm shortly after its founding in 1998. Rick’s practice includes counseling clients in the areas of selection, adoption, use, and protection and enforcement of trademarks and domain names; anti-counterfeiting; the registration of trademarks and copyrights on a worldwide basis; licensing; and advertising and promotions law compliance. Rick has been ranked by the World Trademark Review to the WTR 1000 for trademark enforcement and litigation. Rick represents a wide range of clients from small and mid-sized corporations to some of the most iconic brands. His clients include large multinational financial services institutions; national trade associations; national and international retailers and QSR’s; manufacturers of well-known consumer brand products, jewelry, food products, apparel, and alcohol beverages; and electronics and technology companies. Rick also proudly represents a number of local and national not-for-profit organizations in intellectual property matters on a pro bono basis. Rick currently serves as a member of the ABA-IPL Section’s Council and is recent Past-Chair of the Trademarks Division for the ABA-IPL Section. In addition, Rick previously served as the Chair of INTA’s Pro Bono Committee and a member of its Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee and U.S. Legislation Subcommittee where he was engaged in the development of trademark legislation and policy on Capitol Hill and in the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Rick currently serves on INTA’s Trademark Office Practice Committee (TOPC) and is a member of the INTA PAC Capitol Club. Actively involved in his community, Rick was twice elected in 2009 and 2013 to the Park Ridge Park District Board of Commissioners. In 2017, he was elected to the District 64 Park Ridge-Niles School Board where he served as the Board’s President (2019-21) and Vice President (2017-19). Elected in April of 2021, Rick currently serves as Alderman of Park Ridge’s 6th Ward and serves as Chairman of the City Council’s Finance and Budget Committee.

Mediation and Arbitration Judge Bianchini was appointed a Federal Magistrate Judge for The Southern District of California in 1974. After 8 1/2 years of service, he was appointed to the State Court Bench. He retired from the Superior Court in San Diego to pursue his passion for mediation as a full time neutral in 2002. He was later recruited by the Federal Courts in New York as a settlement judge for complex civil litigation and prisoner civil rights matters. During his tenure on both the state and federal benches, Judge Bianchini mediated more than 3,500 cases ranging from simple to multi-issue complex matters. Among his settlements are many multi-million dollar verdicts in complex cases ranging from patent cases to class actions. Judge Bianchini is known to be an advocate for the settlement process while using a warm and caring approach. Many clients praise him for not giving up and truly exploring every avenue for possible settlement. One client said, \"he is a wonderful person, knowledgeable, and an extremely effective mediator.\" Judge Bianchini is a fixed wing pilot with 1500+ hours. He flew in helicopters in Vietnam as a crew member and was awarded the Bronze Star w/Combat \"V\" and 3 Air Medals.
