Aubri has devoted her entire legal career to being a trial lawyer. In her almost 15-years of practice, Aubri has tried over 50 cases to verdict. With this vast experience that few attorneys today have, Aubri is as comfortable talking to a jury as she is having a cup of coffee with a friend. Aubri started her medical malpractice career as a defense attorney at a large litigation law firm. However, representing insurance and business interests over human beings did not align with her compassionate calling. She envisioned H/S Law as a different kind of law firm. Merging her desire to help people with her love of trial work, she directed H/S Law to where it is today. Aubri leads the Litigation and Trial Team on discovery and trial strategy. She carefully maintains balance between comprehensive discovery and investigation and staying focused on the case theory.

Managing Partner Carmine A. Rubino oversees the navigation of every client’s case through the office, ensuring it is protected and handled effectively and efficiently. Among his vast responsibilities, Rubino prepares every KDLM case for trial, overseeing witnesses and experts, as well as lining up medical research and coordinating legal and medical arguments. “We handle many sad cases involving injured children,” says Rubino. “Their parents come to us wounded too, with nothing but worry, pain and the dream of wanting a life for their kids. What we try to do is achieve maximum financial compensation for their pain and suffering.” Carmine A. Rubino is a member of both the New York and Connecticut bars. He also is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and the Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens and Richmond Bar associations. He graduated with a B.A. from Lemoyne College, Syracuse, N.Y., and received a J.D. degree from Loyola University in New Orleans.

Carmine graduated Summa Cum Laude from Albion College with a degree in Political Science and Concentration in Public Service. While at Albion College, he served as the President of the Student Council and played on the soccer team. He earned his law degree from Wayne State University Law School where he sat on the Law School Student Board of Governors. He was awarded best brief writer, Arthur Neef Moot Court Competition. Carmine also obtained his Graduate Certificate in Legal Practice from the University of South Australia School of Law. Before joining Beam Legal Team, Carmine practiced medical malpractice defense and specialized in birth trauma litigation. His background gives him a unique perspective which allows him to anticipate defenses and thoroughly prepare cases for our clients. Carmine has been recognized by his peers who selected him as a Leading Lawyer. Carmine is licensed to practice in Michigan State Court, Federal Court, Wisconsin State Court, and Illinois State Court.
