Ezra Hurwitz

Ezra Hurwitz is a family law attorney and founding partner of Helland & Hurwitz Attorneys at Law in Colorado Springs. His family law work includes divorce and child custody matters, and his professional background also includes military legal service.

Hurwitz began his legal career as an active-duty U.S. Army Judge Advocate General officer, representing soldiers both in court and outside it. After leaving active duty, he joined KHM Attorneys at Law as an associate and later became a partner. He subsequently founded H&H Attorneys at Law with Jenni Helland. KHM’s website announces the dissolution of that firm and identifies Hurwitz among the attorneys continuing at Helland & Hurwitz. Hurwitz earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Georgia and a JD/MSICP from Valparaiso University School of Law. Raised in Richmond, Virginia, he enjoys running, triathlons, skiing, and camping, along with spending time at his family’s cabin in the Colorado High Country.
