About Ilia
Ilia Borisov is a litigation attorney whose work has included personal injury, transportation cases, premises liability and catastrophic injury claims. Before representing injured individuals, he defended corporations and public entities as well as trucking companies and builders. The biography published by Borisov Law describes his move from that defense practice to plaintiffs’ cases. It identifies wrongful death, amputation and traumatic brain injury among the matters he has handled.
Borisov earned his law degree at Loyola Law School, placing in the top ten percent of his class. His law school activities included two distinct roles: senior research editor for Law Review and competitor on the Byrne Trial Advocacy Team. He also received the George H. Mayr Scholarship and belonged to the St. Thomas More Honor Society. Martinian Lawyers’ education listing credits him with a Loyola Juris Doctor, cum laude, and Order of Coif membership; it also lists highest honors at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
California lists Borisov’s attorney license as active under number 339544. His Florida admission was on December 17, 2025. That state’s bar identifies him as Ilia Semenovich Borisov and records him as a member in good standing who is eligible to practice there.
Outside his legal work, Borisov spent several years volunteering in hospital emergency rooms. At Glendale Memorial Hospital and Adventist Health, he assisted patients with serious injuries.
