Christopher Taylor

Christopher Taylor is a DUI defense attorney in Huntington Beach, California, and a partner and managing attorney at The Law Offices of Taylor & Taylor. He joined the firm in early 2013 and represents a limited number of clients facing DUI charges in Orange County. The State Bar of California lists him as Christopher Scott Taylor, with an active license and admission dated December 28, 2004.

Before entering private practice with his father’s firm, Taylor worked as an Orange County deputy public defender. His criminal defense work there included representing people charged with offenses ranging from misdemeanors to murder. During his final two years in that office, he served as Supervising Misdemeanor Attorney, training and managing deputy public defenders whose cases included DUI and DUI-related vehicular homicides.

Taylor graduated from Santa Clara University in 2001 with honors in political science, completing an honors thesis on judicial interpretation. He subsequently attended the University of San Diego School of Law and graduated in 2004. His law-school experience included an internship with the San Diego City Attorney’s Office, followed by work with the San Diego Public Defender’s Office on felony trials alongside criminal attorneys. In his final year, he served as a legal extern to an associate justice of the California Court of Appeals.

Beyond his casework and management responsibilities, Taylor has lectured on jury trial tactics and pretrial motions to suppress evidence.
